I attended The Ohio State University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Exercise Science. I went on to attend The University of Cincinnati obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing to become a Registered Nurse. My nursing experience includes pediatric and adult ICU care where I was blessed with the opportunity to travel to several cities throughout the United States. During this time I continued my education, graduating from The University of Cincinnati with a Masters in the Science of Nursing to become a Certified Nurse Practitioner. I have had the pleasure of training under one of the top doctors, Mona Foad, in the field of medical and aesthetic dermatology. At MONA Dermatology I have the opportunity to practice my passion for skin care where we believe healthy skin is beautiful skin. My goal is to help you put your best self forward starting with skin exams, preventative care as well as anti-aging and cosmetic treatments. I am a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the ANCC through the American Nurses Association. When not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and two sweet pups, Gryffin and Willow. I also love to read, be outdoors and travel.

I joined MONA Dermatology as a registered nurse following graduation from the University of Cincinnati in 2019. In 2021, I began providing the cosmetic services of body contouring, facials, microneedling, and laser hair removal treatments to our patients while going back to school. In 2023, I earned my master’s degree and became a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to be able to provide for patients in the medical setting after extensive training under the expertise of Dr. Mona Foad. It has been an honor to begin and expand my professional career here with this incredible team of ladies. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2019 with my Bachelors of Science degree in nursing. After working two years as a dermatology nurse, I decided to continue with my pursuit of furthering my education as my passion in diagnostics grew. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s Master of Science in nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2023. I enjoyed this program because it provided me with experience in the treatment of patients of all ages across the lifespan. I earned my board certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners shortly after graduation. I was born in Roanoke, Virginia and spent my early childhood years there before moving to Dallas, Texas. My family moved to Columbus, Ohio at the start of my high school experience. Cincinnati became my home once I decided to pursue higher education at The University of Cincinnati, where I have completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees (therefore I am a HUGE Bearcat fan). I currently live with my long term boyfriend and our two sweet kitties, Isla & Calvin. On the weekends, we love to let our foodie side show by exploring new restaurants and expanding our palates by trying adventurous foods. We also love traveling to explore new cities! When outside, I enjoy friendly competition playing our beloved Midwest activities, cornhole and golf. Dr. Alexandra Bowles

Dr. Alexandra Bowles attended the University of Cincinnati for her undergraduate studies where she earned a bachelor of science in biology, with a minor in bioethics. She then attended medical school at Ohio University before completing her dermatology residency in Miami, Florida where she trained with some of the best medical and cosmetic dermatologists in the nation. While in residency, Dr. Bowles served as co-chief resident and chief of cosmetic training. Dr. Bowles grew up in West Union, Ohio, about an hour southeast of Cincinnati. After residency, she moved back to Cincinnati and married her medical school sweetheart, Yousef, who practices pediatric anesthesiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. They have two adorable cats, Poppie and Toga. She is so happy to be back in Cincinnati with her family and to be providing dermatologic care to the patients of southeast Ohio. “I feel so blessed to practice dermatology in the area I grew up. I strive every day to provide my patients with the most up-to-date care and make each patient feel appreciated and heard. My favorite part of dermatology is the continuity of care – seeing all members of a family for years, hearing about each patient’s life story, and helping them feel better in their skin!” shares Dr. Alexandra. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and her cats. She also enjoys exploring Cincinnati, being active, traveling the world, trying new foods, watching Netflix, and going to the movies.

With a career in aesthetics that began in 2006 and a degree in Healthcare Management, Emily combines expertise with a true love for connecting with people. A natural people person, Emily is warm, animated, and always ready to share her passion for skin health and wellness. She’s a proud wife and mother of three who grew up on Cincinnati’s Westside before moving to the country in her early 20s. In her free time, Emily loves traveling, spending time outdoors with family and friends, and enjoying music. She’s excited to meet you and create a personalized journey toward glowing, healthy skin!

Erin Krieg

Erin Krieg is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who began her nursing journey in 2007, following her passion for healthcare. She earned both her Bachelor’s in Nursing and Master’s in Anesthesia from the University of Cincinnati and has over 14 years of nursing experience. Her background spans ICU nursing, administration, open heart recovery, and five years in the Operating Room specializing in anesthesia. With a deep love for aesthetics, Erin pursued advanced training at the award-winning Beautiphi Academy in Rochester Hills, MI. She combines her expertise in science and beauty to deliver safe, holistic treatments. Erin is passionate about educating her patients, helping them understand their skin, their stage in the aging process, and the treatments that align with their health and beauty goals. Erin is proud to be a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiologists. She lives on Cincinnati’s west side with her husband, Kevin, and their two children, Cooper and Kensey.

Jena started her career as a Cosmetologist and has been licensed for over 18 years. During her career she realized how she wanted to make an impact on the world in a bigger way. Jena was fortunate to have worked as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Postpartum, and Psychiatry Floor. She holds a Masters of Science in Nursing from The University of Cincinnati. She is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 12 years and a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 6 years. She has worked at local hospitals and clinics helping and healing families across the Cincinnati region. She has had the privilege of shadowing local plastic surgeons and doing her clinical rotations in Neurology where she was first introduce to Botox. It is a privilege to Jena to support and boost her client’s confidence. Jena believes everyone should be their own kind of beautiful.

I have been a certified Physician Assistant since 2010, and joined the MONA Dermatology team in January of 2019. I received my Bachelor’s degree in biology at Ohio Dominican University, followed by a Master’s degree of Physician Assistant Studies at Saint Louis University. Upon graduation I moved to Asheville, North Carolina and worked in several specialties including Trauma Surgery/Plastics. It was through this clinical background and my own personal patient experience that I cultivated a special interest and passion in the field of general and cosmetic dermatology. My husband and I moved back to our home state of Ohio after the birth of our first child, and it has been a pleasure to work with Dr. Mona at MONA Dermatology! I feel fortunate to work with one of the top medical and aesthetic practices. My clinical interests include skin cancer management, dermatologic surgery and cosmetics. I am passionate about helping patients achieve their skin care goals. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children. We enjoy the outdoors, going biking and hiking, and traveling to new places.

I am a Certified Nurse Practitioner and joined the MONA Dermatology team in 2021. I attended the University of Kentucky for my undergraduate education where I received my bachelor’s degree in Nursing. After receiving my BSN, I moved back to my home state of Ohio and began working as an RN in the ICU at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. I spent 5 years as an RN at UC where I was able to work in a variety of critical care specialties. I then continued my graduate education at Northern Kentucky University where I earned a master’s degree in Nursing to become a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I am also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I have always had an interest in the field of medical and cosmetic dermatology. I have been fortunate enough to train under Dr. Foad and I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to work alongside the amazing team here at MONA Dermatology. I am very passionate about skin cancer prevention and helping patients feel confident in their own skin. I currently live in Hyde Park with my husband and French Bulldog, Oliver. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling to new places, being outdoors, and trying new restaurants around the city.
