I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Central Florida. I have 4+ years of experience in aesthetic medicine as lead nurse practitioner and aesthetic injector. Highly skilled in cosmetic injectables, laser hair removal, broad-band light therapy (BBL), and Coolsculpting. Prior to becoming an APRN, I was an experienced Registered Nurse for 4.5 years with a demonstrated history of working in inpatient medical progressive care. I am skilled in providing compassionate patient care, patient education, patient advocacy, working on a multidisciplinary team, and quality improvement. I hold a strong interest in the advanced clinical management of dermatological conditions and aesthetic medicine. I am also very passionate about health promotion, screening, wellness, preventative care, and reducing morbidity/mortality in at-risk populations. The focus of my DNP capstone project was to improve targeted screening and education for melanoma in high-risk individuals. As a HRSA grant recipient, my project had a clinically meaningful impact on medically underserved populations in Central Florida as well.
