Sharonda Walton, ANP-BC is a board certified adult nurse practitioner. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Jackson State University in 2001 and a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Baptist College of Health Sciences in 2004. Sharonda graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Master’s in Nursing in 2010. Her medical background includes adult health, occupational health, and emergency medicine. Sharonda received her certification in medical aesthetics in 2017 and has completed advanced trainings in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and PDO threads . Sharonda’s passion for health and beauty led her to open Royalty Wellness Spa, a full service medical spa in Memphis, TN. With a great passion for the medical aesthetics industry, she offers training to beginner injectors and continues to advance her training in the field, in order to offer the most innovative services for her clients. Sharonda specializes in enhancing a person’s natural beauty by providing safe and personalized treatments for her clients in an intimate and friendly environment. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Jackson State University in 2001, a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Baptist College of Health Sciences in 2004, and a Master’s in Nursing in 2010 from Vanderbilt University. In addition to medical aesthetics, her medical expertise includes adult health, occupational health, and emergency medicine. Mrs. Walton’s passion for wellness and beauty sparked her interest in the medical aesthetics industry in 2017. Since receiving her certification in cosmetic injectables 7 years ago, she has completed advanced trainings in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and PDO Threads. As a Memphis native, Sharonda was moved by the lack of representation in medical aesthetics in the MidSouth. This led her to open Royalty Wellness Spa, a boutique medical spa in Memphis, TN in 2018. Being one of few minority cosmetic injectors and medspa owners, locally and nationally, Sharonda remains adamant about diversifying the aesthetic industry as a service provider and educator. When she is not changing lives one syringe at a time, you will find her providing beginner injector certification training for medical professionals nationwide through MedAesthetics Training. She also provides shadowing and mentorship opportunities at her medspa. As a leader in MidSouth medical aesthetics, Sharonda has contributed to multiple articles and forums educating women and men on anti-aging and wellness therapies (a frequent feature in Memphis Health and Fitness Magazine), published an ebook “Say it Ain't So: Black Does Crack, Here's What to Do About It “, and presented a workshop on anti-aging options for women of color at the 2023 Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium. When she is not serving her home as a wife and mother, she is serving her community as an active member of the Black Business Association of Memphis and the Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce. She is a 2023 recipient of the Comcast RISE grant and has been a Recommended Provider for Best Aesthetic Injectors of America since 2019. A huge proponent for partnership, service, and community, each year Sharonda partners with the Sister Network and House of Grace Domestic Violence Shelter to support their fundraising and clothing drive efforts. She also volunteers year-round with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and church, Brown Missionary Baptist Church.
