Aesthetic Injector APRN at Med Spa

Katarina is passionate about the art of medical aesthetics. She has worked in the medical field for the past 12 years and as a nurse practitioner for the past six. She is an American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) and her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN, FNP) at the University of Central Florida. Katarina began her career as a nurse practitioner in the Emergency Department, where she gained valuable experience in repairing wounds and treating skin conditions of patients of all ages. This sparked a passion for aesthetics and cosmetic dermatology which she has pursued through training with the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (AAAMS) completing the Facial Aesthetics Masters Program. She is currently working as a cosmetic injector delivering botox and fillers to clients and practices extraordinary care, priding herself in always putting her client’s safety first. In the pediatric emergency department she performs multiple procedures such as injecting anesthetics, suturing simple and complex lacerations, performing incision and drainage of abscesses, trephination of subungual hematomas, removal of foreign bodies from earlobes, nostrils and ear canals and various other technical skills. She is also proficient in phlebotomy, IV insertion and infusions, and PRP injection. In addition, she has managed nurses and scribes in the department while maintaining professional and friendly relationships and coordinating efficient care. Among her skills, what she is most proud of is her ability to thoroughly educate patients and their families while gaining their trust in her skills and knowledge.
