Karla Aaltonen

About

Karla Altonen, RN was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. After completing nursing school, Karla worked at a high-acuity outpatient clinic. It was there that she further developed her critical thinking skills and attention to detail. Karla earned her certifications in Cosmetic Injectables through the Edunn Institute for Aesthetic Advancement. Karla has continued to accelerate her skills through apprenticeship with Uptown Medispa owner Kristen Hansen. Karla has always been passionate about health, wellness, and using cosmetic practices in her daily life. Karla seeks to help patients target their specific skin care goals by helping them enhance their natural beauty while boosting their self-confidence. In particular Karla is passionate about sharing her knowledge with the Spanish speaking community. Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends and traveling to new destinations.
