As a Registered Medical Assistant I have acquired many skills: Administrative duties, Medication, injection administration, X-ray, allergy testing, ekg's, pft's, blood draws etc. Conveying information from Dr to Patients. Confidentiality, Completing insurance forms and submitting proper forms to insurance. Updating and filing patient medical records. Scheduling appts in house and to speciality clinics. HIPPA certified, First aid & CPR certified, medical terminology. As an AMSA (advanced medical support assistant)I have acquired more administrative skills, customer service, phone etiquette access to Veteran records utilizing CPRS, Vista and multiple VACC specialized government programs. There are many changes daily and learning new software daily which has kept me sharp and ready for new changes as then come. I am always eager to learn new things and make small changes daily to help improve my skills. As a Professional Laser Technician, I manage front desk duties such as checking in/out clients while ensuring a positive and warm experience and maintain a clean environment. Assist clients with questions or concerns about the various treatments I/we offer in the Spa.
