Charis Wipfler

About

A graduate of Sacred Heart University, Charis Wipfler is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner of Family Practice and Aesthetics. She served many years as an emergency nurse at both Bristol Hospital and Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut. Charis left emergency nursing after 13 years to pursue her love of aesthetic medicine on a full time basis. In April of 2012, she created Grace Medical Aesthetics starting as a concierge home visit medical aesthetics service. Since then, Grace Medical Aesthetics has evolved into a successful anti-aging medical aesthetics practice with five total locations in Connecticut (Southbury, Westport, and Southington) and New York (Bedford Hills and New York City) thanks to her hard work and strong leadership. Charis appeared in Glamour Magazine as a RealSelf Top 25 Most Loved Injector and is one of the highest utilizers of Galderma products in the country. Before branching out as an independent practitioner, she received extensive training in medical aesthetics through Allergan, Medicis, and Merz Pharmaceuticals. She is certified in basic and advanced techniques by Aesthetic Advancements, Duet, and PALLETTE Resources. Charis also had the opportunity to pursue double internships in both dermatology with Dr. William Notaro of Danbury, CT and a comprehensive aesthetic and laser training internship with Dr. Jeffrey Lafrance of Lafrance Medical Aesthetics in Bristol, CT. Now as a leading medical aesthetics provider, Charis continues to stay educated on the latest injecting techniques, safety protocols, and industry trends with yearly trainings and seminars. In October of 2019, she had the unique opportunity to travel to Sweden as a part of Galderma’s New Product Innovation Aesthetic Advisory Board. While there, she trained under Julie Horne to master her signature lip augmentation techniques. Medical aesthetics is not cookie cutter practice and Charis does not treat it as such. Outside of the Grace office, Charis enjoys traveling with her husband, Mark, and their three daughters, interior design (hint: she designed and decorated all of the Grace offices), and is an animal lover sharing their home with their beloved dog and cat, Ellie and Roxy.
