About

Amy Henderson, RN, CANS, earned her BSN from Creighton University in 1988. Over the past 30 years, she has worked in various specialty areas. She began her nursing career in Washington, D.C. in the fields of cardiology and critical care. In 2004, Amy relocated to Omaha, NE, where she joined a large dermatology practice, sparking her interest in skin health and medical aesthetics. She honed her skills with injectables, medical-grade skin care, and laser rejuvenation while working with several specialty practices. In 2017, Amy joined Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort in Tucson, AZ, helping to launch and direct the medical aesthetics program. With over 15 years of experience in medical aesthetics, Amy has earned the highest level of certification for her specialty as a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist(CANS). She is passionate about nursing and is excited about her role with SkinSpirit, where she looks forward to working with her clients to create individualized treatment plans to address their concerns. Her belief that "less is more" helps her create a fresh, rejuvenated look for her patients. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, listening to podcasts, going to concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
