Currently, she is furthering her education by working towards a Doctorate in Nursing at Samuel Merritt University. She is Taiwanese and speaks Mandarin fluently. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, eating, reading, playing the piano, and experiencing new things. With a keen eye for aesthetics in beauty, fashion, and photography, she is often praised by friends and family for her ability to find beauty in everything. Known for her steady hands, she has been doing her own nails and makeup since high school and enjoys creating personalized press-on nails for friends and family. Her passion for beauty and skincare was ignited during her time working at Sephora, leading her to pursue a career in aesthetic nursing, the perfect job for her! My absolute favorite treatment at Serenity is Secret RF (microneedling with radio frequency). It’s a game-changer! This treatment creates controlled micro-trauma at various depths of the skin, while delivering radio frequency energy to tighten and rejuvenate. It’s amazing for collagen production, tightening, reducing pore size, and smoothing out fine lines. Every time I get it done, my skin feels so tight and glowing—it’s like an instant refresh! The trifecta of treatments is Secret RF for tightening, Botox/Dysport for prevention, & fillers for facial balancing!

Andrew Ferski

Physician Assistant

Andy Ferski has had an inherent passion for aesthetics and dermatology since he was a child. He's always been artistically driven and found aesthetics to be the perfect combination of art and medicine - allowing him to pursue his passion while caring for others. Andy received his undergraduate degree in microbiology at the University of Minnesota. He then went on to acquire a master's degree in applied clinical research at St. Cloud State before moving to Chicago, IL. During his time in Chicago, he completed a second master's in physician assistant studies from the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine where he completed specialized training in outpatient skin surgery and dermatology in preparation for his aesthetic career. Today, Andy stands out as a practitioner for his gentle touch and calming demeanor - qualities that make his patients feel comfortable and confident. He has devoted himself to continuous learning and research so he can provide the best treatment for each patient. Andy has a strong passion for light- and laser-based treatments, particularly IPL and laser resurfacing, because he believes these to be two of the most impactful treatments for the right candidates. When it comes to home care, Andy believes it is very important to understand not every product works for every individual. A product that produces incredible results for one person might contribute to dry or oily skin, acne breakouts, or subpar results in another. His philosophy on skincare and at-home products is based on years of trial and error for sensitive, temperamental skin. He has found that having a set of two to three key products can be affordable, help dramatically improve skin texture and tone, and greatly enhance the results of other aesthetic services a patient may be interested in. When he's not helping patients at SkinSpirit, Andy enjoys cooking and playing classical violin.

Christina Chan

Experienced Registered Nurse with a demonstrated history of working in the surgical, aesthetic, health wellness and industry. Skilled in Customer Service, Microsoft Word, Management, Healthcare, and Leadership. Strong healthcare services professional graduated from University of San Francisco. My previous employment experiences have provided me with a wide variety of opportunity in different nursing roles and administrative roles.   In the spectrum of nursing I have had the pleasure of working in different positions such as  a Circulator,  Pre Op / PACU  to a laser nurse in different patient care environments. I have found a lot of gratification in providing quality care and assistance to those in need. I am presently seeking an environment where I can continually learn and build upon my nursing skills and also utilize my coaching skills to further assist in helping clients / patients improve their health, thus allowing them to live a better life.       As noted in my resume, I obtained my nursing degree from the University of San Francisco.  The variety of skills gained throughout my educational and practical training range from patient care in basic communication talents, to efficiently operating computers and specialized lasers. I gained a vast amount of knowledge that has ultimately assisted in fine-tuning the one skill I effectively use on a daily basis:  communication. This proves true in diurnal encounters with people from multiple backgrounds while working under variable pressures in both the public and private sector.  I am always up to learn and to a challenge. Recently during Covid I decided I needed something more. Over the last 2 years I have completed courses and recieved certification as a Health / Life coach as well as Functional nutrition counselor.   Many have described me as a quick learner, very compassionate, determined and a hard working person.  No matter what I am doing, I am diligent in maintaining a positive outlook on life. My compassion grew from my daily encounters with the people I provided care for as well as with my peers. I learned how to work well in groups as well as independently, often performing under pressure in a safe and efficient manner.

She takes the time to build rapport with her patients, ensuring they feel seen and heard as they work together to enhance their self-love and beauty. Sydney loves being a nurse because it allows her to create a safe and nurturing environment for her patients. She finds immense joy in hearing their stories and contributing to their confidence and self-love. Her favorite treatment is Botox, which she considers a subtle way to enhance natural beauty. For skincare, Sydney swears by retinoids, which have significantly improved her skin's glow, texture, and overall appearance, always paired with daily sunscreen. Outside of work, Sydney enjoys spending her days off hiking with her dog, relaxing at the beach, practicing yoga, and traveling. She believes that maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential for taking care of herself, enabling her to be the best advocate and nurse for her patients.

Taline Hovsepian

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

Taline Hovsepian has pursued her passion for medical aesthetics for over 14 years. From studying art to psychology to nursing, she's always enjoyed art of all forms. She loves what she does today because it's so rewarding to have made someone's day, by helping them build some confidence, or just making them look refreshed. Her clients are trusting her with their faces, and that's something she doesn't take lightly. Taline's approach to aesthetics: is less is more. The key to beauty is proportion and at times, this message tends to get lost in the sea of exaggerated looks, especially with social media. Taline wants her patients to look good, not overdone. She's focused on bringing out their best, and she always tells her patients that what we do here in the office is just the frosting on the cake. Taline believes that your day to day maintenance with a good skincare regimen is really the most important part to achieving healthy, beautiful skin. Consistency with topical is key to better long-lasting results. Taline stills appreciates all forms of art ( not just sculpting faces)! Her passions include travel, learning about different cultures, eating everything, and her pup.
